9 Hole Scramble OR Group Golf Lesson + Lunch

Join the AEC Women's Golf Club for our first parallel event at The Golf Club at Moffett Field in Mountain View!

Choose to play in a 16-player scramble or take a group golf lesson with about 10 other AEC professionals. We’ll all start with an hour of networking before splitting into our groups, and then everyone will reconvene for lunch afterward.

Both groups are great for players of all skill levels, however you'll need to bring your own clubs if you want to participate in the scramble. If you’re new to golf, we recommend the lesson. However, the scramble format is beginner-friendly too — everyone tees off, then the group selects the best shot and plays from there until the ball is holed. This makes playing on the course less intimidating. We believe the best way to learn is by getting out there and trying. Plus, all foursomes will include seasoned players to help keep the pace of play steady.

Moffett Golf Club is situated within Moffett Field, a former military airfield that is now a federal government property managed by NASA. Because of this, access to the property is restricted and monitored, even though the golf course itself is open to the public. To drive onto the base and reach the golf course, all visitors must go through a security checkpoint at the gate. You need a valid US driver’s license to drive a vehicle through the security checkpoint.

ALL club rentals will be reserved for the group golf lesson. To participate in the scramble, you’ll need to bring your own set of clubs. If you don’t have a set, consider checking Facebook Marketplace or a local golf store—there are often quality, affordable options available.

• 10 am -12:30 pm: 16 Player Scramble OR Group Golf Lesson
• 12:30 pm -1:30 pm: Lunch + Networking
