Poignant tribute to the victims of September 11 attacks. The memorial features two massive reflecting pools set in the footprints of the original Twin Towers, surrounded by bronze panels inscribed with the names of every person who died in the attacks. The museum below preserves artifacts, testimonies, and multimedia displays that honor those who were killed and examines the impact of the events. See the Last Column, Survivors' Stairs, and remnants of the towers. A moving and educational experience. The memorial plaza is free and open daily. Museum requires timed tickets.
