This is not your typical race.Racers can run, walk, crawl, or use any form of non-motorized transportation to compete in an untimed .5k – note the decimal… this race is total of about 500 yards.
The race begins and ends at the Washington Park basketball court and race start time is 10am-ish
Costumes are encouraged and there will be prizes for the best costume and best team costume.
Donuts and coffee will be available for racers to refuel at the halfway point, and racers receive a beer at the finish line to celebrate completing the race!
We have games along the race course as well! We’ve put our own spin on some classic yard games but we make them very simple as we don’t want our racers to have to work too hard.
The best part is it’s all for charity! Proceeds from racer registrations will be donated to The Downtown Clinic.
