The Tangier Classic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Every September we host a light tackle and kayak fishing tournament. We utilize this fishing tournament and other events throughout the year to raise money for local youth. Anglers compete 2 out of 3 days. Join us while we celebrate the abundant fishing opportunities of the Tangier Sound and lower Chesapeake Bay while raising money for our 2026 beneficiary. Due to Somers Cove Marina being overhauled through 2026, and the Tawes Clam bake being held at the Crisfield American Legion the week of our event, our location for 2026 is still up in the air. Stay tuned for updates as they become available!
