The venue for the Annual DAV Department of Texas Convention will be at the Inn of the Hills Hotel located at 1001 Junction Hwy., Kerrville Texas 78028. I encourage maximum participation by chapters. The theme will be DAV Jukebox Jam!! The joint opening session will start at 09:00 hours, Friday, June 5th, 2026. Remember, delegates and alternates must be elected by the chapter as required by the Dept of Texas bylaws Article I, Section 2.
Hotel Reservations:
• Reservations must be made by May 15th to get the contracted price of $139.00 plus tax (single), $149.00 double occupancy, $159.00 for triple occupancy. After that date, the price will be at the normal hotel rate.
• Call 1-830-895-5000 and refer to the name of DAV Dept. of Texas Convention to get the group rate, or
• Go online to: http://www.innofthehills.com, click on the top left hand corner(Book Now), put in your dates, your code in the “Group” is 2606DISABL , and select your room.
• Keep in mind that this is a 2-floor hotel without elevators and is a block rate with a limited number of rooms. First come, first serve. So book early.
Delegates/Alternates:
• Delegates and alternates must be elected by the chapter as required by Dept. of Texas bylaws Article I,
Section 2.
• Must Complete & Sign the Convention Delegate/Alternate form and submit it to Dept, by mail, email, or fax by May 1, 2026. If using the NEW digital list form, it must be emailed from the commander or Adjutant.
• Complete, sign, and GIVE THE DELEGATE SLIPS TO THE DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES to use at registration,
DO NOT MAIL TO Department.
ONLINE Registration and Banquet:
• The cost of registration is $30.00 per person. If mailing or prepaying online, due by May 1, 2026.

The registration desk will open Thursday afternoon, June 4th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Checks, cash, credit or debit card will be accepted.
Registration & Banquet may be paid at convention, if banquet tickets are still available. There are only 200 banquet tickets available for DAV & DAVA, once they are sold, no more will be available.
All resolutions from chapters must be submitted to the Department of Texas Headquarters in triplicate and received in this office by May 1st.
