What is McHenry Rocks?McHenry Rocks began with the sole purpose of spreading joy, kindness, and a sense of community through creativity and was inspired by the various "rocks" facebook groups.
The goal is to paint rocks and then hide them in various locations to bring joy to the finder. For longevity, rocks should be covered with a
sealer. On the backs of your masterpieces write in permanent pen or paint. "Take a picture and post on "McHenry Rocks" facebook page and then rehide. If you find a rock that you cant bear to part with, still post a picture and keep it. But please replace it with one of your own creations.
we encourage you to take rocks to other towns, states, or countries to hide and share. This is a kindness project and kindness has no boundaries.
