Join us for an amazing week of music!The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and music genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this music camp, we’ll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls, and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing 80s songs, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
Schedule
1. Camp runs Monday - Thursday from 9am-3pm.
2. Campers will report to Steamworks Creative Community Center on Friday for their camp performance. Show details, times, etc will be emailed to parents closer to the date.
3. Drop off is no earlier than 10-mins before the start of the day
4. Pick up is no later than 10-mins after the end of the day
5. Each day will consist of rehearsal time, practice time and fun games/activities
What to Bring?
1. Campers must bring their own lunch Monday-Thursday.
2. It is recommended all students bring a water bottle.
3. Guitarists must bring their own guitar and/or bass, straps, picks, extra strings
4. Drummers must bring their own drumsticks
5. Ear plugs
6. Device (like a phone or tablet). Your students will need them to access their songs for the week!
