Brunchercize, the dance you do in the brunch hour is coming to Canberra in November with an 80s dance party!Brunchercize is a relaxed chance to enjoy some dance-play. Each class you go on a journey, exploring a dance theme, genre or style. There is a warmup and cool down (because we love our bodies and we want to keep enjoying them safely for many years to come!). And in between you will experience some of the signature moves of that dance genre (and maybe even incorporate it into a little routine). This is your time to play with no expectations!
In November we are celebrating spring with an 80s dance party. Whitney, Madonna, New Order, Prince, Wham and more are on the cassette playlist and ready to 80s-rock you! And because it's a party, there will be a prize for the best 80s-inspired dress. So pop on your favourite ra-ra skirt on, crimp that fringe, grab your friends and get ready to party like it's 1989!
What to wear? Whatever you feel comfortable in - you are welcome to dress up - this is your time to play!
Of course, there will be a lucky door prize - what's a dance in the brunch hour without a lucky door prize?
What to bring? Yourselves, your friends, your drink bottle and a towel as we are going to sweat!
