On March 26, Dream Flights celebrates its 8,000th Dream Flight — and kicks off the 2026 Dream Flight Tour — at Chandler Air Service, Chandler, Arizona! 🎉
Leading the way is James Childers, a 101-year-old U.S. Navy WWII veteran who helped rescue six soldiers stranded at sea. He'll take to the skies in the Spirit of Pacific, a restored 1943 Stearman biplane, carrying with him the courage, pride, and unbreakable spirit that has defined the Greatest Generation.
James is among eight fellow WWII, Korean and Vietnam War veterans from Avista Senior Living who will be honored with free Dream Flights. 🇺🇸
