About this Event
The 8 Elements™ is a multi-phase training designed to help participants build a strong foundation for personal practice and artistic development in dance. The primary intention is to deconstruct and examine the underlying structures of belly dance, including vocabulary, composition, technique, music, and practice.
Phase 2 continues with more challenging technique and musicality, and shifts focus to practice habits with a challenging vocabulary assessment. We also begin our journey into composition with a series of studies, or mini-compositions. We outline and begin to prepare for the challenging Phase 3 final composition project.

Schedule
- Mon-Fri 10am - 6pm Daily Class Schedule (Lunch at 1pm)
- Sat 10am -12pm Assessment
- Sat 5pm - 7pm Hafla
All events to be held at in Portland, Oregon. Schedule is subject to change.
This is an in-person event, with no online option.
