The girls from Heart of Chicago Soul Club were runner-up for Best Dance Party of 2023 and again in 2024 packing the Hideout to sold out crowds with their uptempo-danceable vintage music which gets everyone moving including our DJs. Whether you want to dance or just appreciate going down a rabbit hole of rare 60’s gems from vintage RnB Northern Soul Psychedelic Crossover... you will feel the joy of the music at the Hideout. The goal is to create community on the dance floor of people who want to have a good time and let loose to great music and artists some you may know and many that didn't get their due and deserve a listen. The event which was a runner-up for the Chicago Reader's Best Dance Party of 2023 keeps sold-out crowds both young and old entertained with a focus on soulful music and community building. Heart of Chicago Soul dance party DJs Debbie Ricky Kat and Psyche Prissy Pie will share an up beat soul-driven collection of vintage '60s rare soul R&B and psyche music.
