[7th Month Special] Lunar 7th Month Temple Prayer Tour - 农历7月

The Lunar 7 Month Festival, or popularly known as Hungry Ghost Festival, with prayers and rituals lined the streets. Dinner, Auction and Live Music Performance (Getai) throughout the this entire month, however, always puzzled why they exist and purpose behind it?

Contrary to common belief that it’s a month to be wary of and when the Chinese appeasing the “Good Brothers and Sisters” aka Ghosts, it’s a month of filial piety 孝, remembrance 思 and kindness 善!

Join us on the first ever 7th Month Lunar Tour at the UNESCO Award Winning Hong San See Temple and being guided through the rites and rituals of the 7th Month conducted within the National Monument Temple.

Specially customized tour for both the locals and tourists, as we debut the myths and gain insights into the local culture, heritage and traditions.
