REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED to help us plan for the day! See registration link.Join us for the 7th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration, an “all ages,” free event. This year’s theme is “Purpose, Partnership, and Power: The Path to Civic Wellbeing"
The event will feature facilitated conversation for adolescents and adults, led by Jerren Chang. Children are invited to a special interactive program taking place at the same time.
Drummer Otha Day will return to Westborough for this program and all in attendance will have an opportunity to participated in an interactive drumming session.
Complimentary, light refreshments will be offered to all. Live language interpretation will be available with pre-registration by January 8th.
The event is co-hosted by Central MA Connections in Faith (CMACIF), Westborough Interfaith Clergy, Westborough Public Schools and Westborough Connects.
Partial grant funding provided by Westborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional funding provided by Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a can of soup or beans for the Westborough Food Pantry.
