SAVE THE DATE! Sunday June 14th2026 marks the 75th anniversary of the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust.
Our celebrations will be mainly in June with events held along the canal, linked by one of the Trust’s accessible boats – Hannah – travelling from Bristol to Reading.
This commemorates the journey of Timothy West and Prunella Scales, who were the first to travel the length of the canal when it reopened in 1990.
We will celebrate in Bradford on Avon on Sunday June 14th. More details to follow but expect 1950s theme….canal craft displays…. activities for children….lots of fun boaty stuff… and more!. All at Bradford on Avon wharf by the Canal Trust Cafe
