730DC is bringing back our Local Press Club, a reader event with our team and favorite local journalists. Some key reasons to join:
- Learn more about the process behind some of the best local stories published in the past year.
- Check out the DC Arts Center, where underrepresented artists showcase their work in the gallery and on stage.
- Meet the team behind your favorite local newsletter!
Doors and concession will open at 6:00 p.m., with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options available for purchase. At 7:00 p.m., we'll have everyone settle into their seats for lightning talks by a few featured journalists who wrote some of our favorite stories from the past year:

Following their presentations, Serena Zets will moderate a Q&A discussion on DC's local journalism scene. Submit questions in advance at [email protected]
We will have a reception afterwards in the DCAC gallery, where you can get to know your fellow newsletter readers, local journalists, and meet the 730DC team. There will be light snacks available and 730DC merch for purchase.
