What This Night Is
Calling all dancing queens, rock legends and shower singers. This is your night to belt out the best of the 70s and 80s while you paint, sip and laugh your way through a fully hosted paint and sip party. Think disco balls, big choruses, guilty pleasure bangers and a room full of people who know every word.
You will paint step by step with our host guiding you through the artwork while the playlist serves up ABBA, Bee Gees, power ballads and retro classics. Singing along is encouraged, being in tune is optional. We will be roaming the room collecting your song requests across the night, so you can claim your moment when your favourite track hits.
Get ready to let your inner pop star loose, laugh, and maybe even nail that air guitar. It's not just a paint night; it's a blast from the past with a splash of fun!
This is not a quiet little art class. It is a full Balklina night out with 70s and 80s anthems on full volume, step by step painting guided by our host artist and the kind of energy that turns a room of strangers into a room full of best mates by the second chorus.
We take requests throughout the night. Warm up your pipes because the call and response moments hit whether you planned to join in or not. Dress ups encouraged. Air guitar mandatory. If you are new here, Paint Juicy is Australia's most awarded paint and sip and this is exactly what we do best.
This session features live singer Lotti Rem bringing the 70s and 80s catalogue to life alongside our host artist. It is not a playlist night. It is a show.

Before You Arrive
Arrive 15 minutes early — doors open before the session and the bar is ready. Come in for dinner and drinks before we kick off.
Wear clothes you do not mind painting in. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Dress ups are absolutely welcomed. 70s and 80s gear gets a big reaction from the room. Shoulder pads, scrunchies, neon — go for it.
Tickets are online only. They are not sold at the door. If you have not bought yours yet, do it now before the session fills.
FAQs
Do I need painting experience?
Not at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting. If you last painted in Year 8 art class you are overqualified.
Is singing optional?
Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to.
Can we celebrate a hens or birthday at this session?
Absolutely. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the night.
What if I am coming alone?
You are welcome. Many people come solo. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of the fun from the first song.
Can I BYO food or drinks?
No BYO. Food and drinks are available to purchase from the venue bar throughout the session.
