Union College Theater and Dance Department presents 7 Plays/ 7 Days: A Festival of Short Works.7 Plays/ 7 Days will be a whirlwind experience of creating seven individual short works over the span of only seven days. Playwrights, directors, designers, collaborators, and performers come together on day one to begin the process. Ideas, scripts, and plays written just for this festival will be brought to life on the stage over the course of the next seven days. This company of artists will work together to share a variety of unique visions and viewpoints through the medium of the performing arts in this collection of 10 minute plays. Each piece will be performed every night.
This is an amazing opportunity to see new work by up-and-coming artists and playwrights from a variety of diverse backgrounds tackling topics including climate change, international wars, family and relationships, gender, identity, and human connection all woven together with laughter, tears, and the bringing together of a performing arts community.
Performances are October 30th- November 2nd at 7:30pm, and November 3rd at 2:00pm.
