ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Each player shall be entitled to take part in maximum 4 events.
Pro player definition: Professional pickleball player with a rating of 4.0 or more.
Advanced player definition: A player who has never won any medal in the open category of the pickleball tournaments.
A player cannot register for advanced and pro category. In that case TNPA will remove the player/team from any one of the categories.

Under 14 player born after 25.07.2010
Under 19 player born after 25.07.2005
35+ player born before 25.07.1989
50+ player born before 25.07.1974

6. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

ENTRY FEES:

Rs.700/- per player per event for all singles.

Rs.1200/- per team per event for all doubles.

Rs.500/- per player per event for all U14 and U19 singles.

Rs.800/- per team per event for all U14 and U19 doubles.

Rs.200/- per player per event for all U10 Singles.

8. Scoring and Selection Details:

All Singles and doubles matches will be round robin format
All events knock out and round robin Matches will be regular service points to 11, win by 1 point,
All semifinal and bronze medal matches will be regular service points to 11, win by 2 points.
Gold & Silver medal matches for the following categories shall be decided based on best of 3 sets regular service points to 11, win by 2 points :-

1) Men's Singles (Open and 35+)

2) Men's Doubles (Open and 35+)

For all other categories, regular service points to 15, win by 2 points.

For all the categories having a single flight, the winners would be decided based on the round robin results. In case of any tie, match shall be played between the tied teams for the medal, regular service points to 15, win by 2 points.
In case of tie in the league matches having multiple flights, the top 2 players/teams of each flight, shall be solely determined by the Pickleball Global System. Also the fixtures of knock out matches shall be solely determined by the system.
Any event which does not have minimum quantity of players/teams will be merges to other event or cancelled.

TNPA has the rights to decide over any matter and its decision is final.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES:-
The Tournament is open for all the Tamilnadu players only.
All the Players are requested to report at the venue latest 30 minutes prior to their schedule time of the match prior your reporting time confirm your physical presence.
Players shall be allowed to play only with Non-marking or Tennis shoes.
The organizers reserve the right to modify scoring rules (in case of time constraint) or cancel any categories if number of entries is less than 3.
All the Players are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship and integrity.
Umpires call is final and cannot be ruled out.
