6th annual lighting of ‘The Triangle’ tradition! 🎄⏰ Saturday, December 6, 2025; 6:00pm
📍Junction of Brookmount Rd and Columbine Ave
This festive evening brings the opportunity to meet more neighbours, celebrate the community we are privileged to live in and support the 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿.
The Red Door provides a safe place and social support network for women and children, families and refugees fleeing crisis, and/or experiencing houselessness. By providing monetary donations, food items and sanitary products, we can help support the work done by the Red Door staff and volunteers during a very challenging time for many.
In addition to the proceeds from hot chocolate sales on Saturday night, Laura Inward and her team at Barrett-Inward, who have been incredibly supportive of this event since its inception, will match your monetary donations on Saturday night, as well as coordinate and deliver the food collected during the Food Drive the next day to the Red Door Family Shelter.

💡Turn on those holiday lights on the evening of Saturday, December 6th at 6:00 pm
🎄Then join in the merriment at the junction of Brookmount Rd and Columbine Ave with some hot chocolate and musical entertainment generously provided by the Barrett-Inward team.
Everyone is welcome — bundle up and 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 your neighbours, dogs, a bit of change💲, and your favourite reusable mug ☕️
📖 The Story behind 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿
In 2020, Anna Khouzam of The Triangle created “Lights Together” as a way to bring warmth and light to our community during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her idea was simple but powerful: to offer a safe and meaningful way for neighbours to connect & celebrate the beauty around us.
It’s an annual reminder of the empowerment, comfort, and simple joy that comes from being part of a community and expanding our circles.✨
