Please join us on Friday, June 19th for the 6th Annual Juneteenth in Ashland celebration at Broadway Square in Downtown AKY from 6pm - 9pm.Juneteenth – also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day – is a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. This year, we will celebrate with live performances from Christ Temple Church and Brett Higgins & The Family; food trucks - Almost Philly and Reservoir Hogz BBQ; plus t-shirts, face painting and kids activities!
