About this Event
The North Carolina Central University Counselor Education Program invites you to the 6th Annual Career Institute entitled, The Connection Between Career Development, Mental Health, and Wellness. This event will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm EST.
The Career Institute will bring together helping professionals, graduate students, and counseling faculty who are interested in career development and mental health and its interconnection with one another. We will explore the impact of mental health and wellness on an individuals’ career development, as well as share wellness and career development strategies that can inform the work of practitioners. Attendees will also engage with a panel of career and counseling practitioners within the fields of higher education, K-12 schools, private practice, and industry at various stages in their career journeys to discuss the impact of wellness on career development.
