About this Event
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC), an American College of Cardiology Certified Chest Pain Center, is excited to offer this FREE half-day symposium. The event will be held at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in the Pitzer Auditorium.
The symposium will open at 7:30 a.m. and begin promptly at 8 a.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore our sponsors’ booths prior to the symposium and during a scheduled 15-minute break. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Our accomplished panel of specialists will share their expertise in the management of cardiovascular patients through evidence-based practice guidelines and up-to-date research. This year will encompass the introduction of new treatment modalities, including case studies. If you are part of the interdisciplinary team that cares for cardiovascular patients, this symposium is for you.
Upon completion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
1. Review current modalities for the treatment approaches of Pulmonary Emboli.
2. Evaluate Current evidence based research for the identification and management of Coronary Artery Disease.
3. Review modern day approaches for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease.
4. Identify current evidenced based Vascular Surgical Interventions.
5. Discuss key objectives relating to the treatment of Cardiogenic Shock.
6. Recognize current Electrophysiological treatment approaches for cardiac dysrhythmia.
7. Examine current evidenced based practice related to the robotic thoracic surgical interventions such as Lung lobectomy, Hiatal hernia and esophageal procedures.

Parking: Parking is free. Please park in our North Parking Lot, north of the security booth off of Willow Street. The event will be held in the Pitzer Auditorium. Check in with the security booth at the main lobby before going to Pitzer Auditorium.
