Join us for our Halloween Challenge, a unique collaborative filmmaking experience!
Whether you’re a seasoned director, actor, aspiring filmmaker, or just curious to try something new, this is your chance to unleash your creativity while embracing the spirit of Halloween in Barcelona.
On Friday, October 24 at the launch night, we’ll provide the guidelines, prompts, theme, and limitations. Over the following days, participants will form teams and create original short films under time pressure. Whether you register solo or with friends, we’ll help connect you so that everyone gets involved.
The Challenge
- Teams have just 3 days (66.6 hours) to produce a short film (3–5 minutes).
- Films will be screened on Halloween Night, Friday, October 31 at Bigoli Studios, complete with popcorn and drinks.
- Crew sizes: 6–8 members per team (max).
- Actors: capped at 15 spots only.
- Directors: lead their teams with support from wild card crew and performers.
Prizes & Awards
This is first and foremost a collaborative challenge — but there will be audience voting and a jury awarding fun prizes in categories such as:
- Best Story
- Best Performance
- Best Sound
- Best Direction / Team Collaboration
- Best Jump Scare
- Best Blood
- Best Costume
- Funniest Moment

How to Participate
- Assemble your team (max 8 including director, excluding actors) and register.
- After registration, you’ll receive details about your team setup and participation.
- Attend the launch night at Bigoli Studios (C/ Saragossa 62, 08006 Barcelona) on October 24, where we’ll reveal the secret theme, tips, and mandatory story elements.
- Create your film in just 66.6 hours!

¡Únete a nuestro Halloween Challenge, una experiencia única de cine colaborativo!
Tanto si eres director, actor, cineasta en ciernes, o simplemente quieres probar algo nuevo, esta es tu oportunidad de desatar toda tu creatividad mientras celebras el espíritu de Halloween en Barcelona.
El viernes 24 de octubre, en la noche de lanzamiento, daremos las pautas, tema, limitaciones y consejos. Durante el reto, los participantes formarán equipos para crear cortometrajes originales bajo presión de tiempo. No importa si te apuntas solo o con amigos: nosotros os ayudaremos a conectaros para que todos participen.
El Reto
- Los equipos tendrán 3 días (66,6 horas) para producir un cortometraje (3–5 minutos).
- Las películas se proyectarán en la noche de Halloween, viernes 31 de octubre, en Bigoli Studios, con palomitas y bebidas.
- Tamaño de los equipos: máximo 6–8 miembros.
- Actores: limitados a 15 plazas.
- Directores: lideran con apoyo de intérpretes y crew adicionales.

Este es, ante todo, un reto colaborativo, pero habrá votación del público y premios en categorías divertidas como:
