The World Eskimo‑Indian Olympics (WEIO) is a four‑day celebration of Indigenous strength, skill, and culture held each July in Fairbanks, Alaska. Athletes, families, and visitors from across Alaska and the circumpolar North gather to compete in traditional games and share dances, stories, and community.Since 1961, WEIO’s mission has been to promote the culture, social games, skills, dances, and traditions of Alaska, Greenland, Siberian, and Canadian Eskimos, and those of the American and Alaskan Indians and Aleuts.

Daytime events: Free admission
Evening sessions: Ticketed; General Admission, youth/senior, and family passes available
