Are you ready to put yourself first and invest in your own health?
Due to demand, I’ve decided to offer more gentle somatic yoga movement courses. This course is for adult women and men of any age.
You don’t need to be flexible for this. You don’t need to be a certain weight. You don’t need to have done yoga before. This is different. Very different to conventional forms of yoga. This is movement and breathwork mainly designed to help your body release stress and deeply held traumas stored in the body. Yes you don’t have to talk about that stuff to get over it. Come to these classes and surrender and trust the process. You will see dramatic results.
Some say that those carrying fat is a trauma response too and when you let go of the trauma the weight also falls off slowly. Maybe trauma or stress make you eat emotionally and no matter how much you’ve exercised the weight won’t come off. Why? Because the you have to go deep and address the causes. This course will help you do just that without talking just moving. It really is a kind of magic.
There’s often emotional releases in these sessions which can be a bit triggering for some. However, a safe space will be created allowing this and the end of each session focuses on resourcing and grounding ensuring you leave feeling lighter.
Somatic yoga helps with any issue in your body that has been caused by stress or trauma. I believe all disease comes from being ill at ease in your own body. This Somatic Yoga class is a form of neuromuscular training that helps to improve muscoskeletal conditions re training the body to its optimal state of being. Improving posture and muscle control in a very easy manner.
Serenita is an 850 hours yoga alliance accredited yoga teacher. Trained and accredited in Somatic Bodywork Therapy. Having been impacted by serious illness herself, and suffering body ailments as a result, she turned to somatics, as a way of not just helping her own body but also for helping others. She offers a compassionate healing environment and likes to spoil her students.
This 6 week course starts on Saturday 25th May at 2pm at Trecynon Community Hall. Booking is essential. The energy exchange is £60 which need to be paid upfront or can be paid in 2 instalments of £30..To book contact Serenita Serendipity
