6 Week Session- Creative Recovery Group

This 6-week Creative Arts Therapy group is for individuals in the maintenance phase of their recovery.
About this Event

Recovery is a life-long journey that requires ongoing commitment, self-exploration and growth. Some traditional treatment models prompt individuals to reiterate their narratives of addiction, but do not offer any new avenues for expanding interests or skillsets outside the world of addiction treatment.

Creative Arts Therapy offers a different access point to address, process and heal wounds of addiction. This group will focus on gaining a new perspective and self-insight on the addiction/recovery experience through participation in art-based therapy directives. Participants will engage with various creative modalities and techniques to promote reflection, relaxation and to broaden their tool box of coping skills and self-insight.

NO PRIOR ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
