About this Event
We’re leaning all the way into spring with this one. Over 6 weeks, you’ll build a collection of handmade pieces for your garden—planters, pots, and whatever else you dream up.
We’ll cover handbuilding techniques like slab, coil, and pinch, but the real goal here is to make stuff you’re excited about. Want a hanging planter? A weird little plant friend? A full set of pots? Let’s go.
Small group, lots of one-on-one help, and plenty of room to experiment, get a little muddy, and figure out your own style along the way.

More info:
Each session starts with a quick demo, then we get into it. You’ll spend most of your time building, experimenting, and getting hands-on guidance as you work through your pieces.
We’ll move through the full process—from raw clay to finished work—covering building, refining, and surface decoration along the way.
By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll have a collection of functional pieces ready for your space (or your plants), and a solid foundation in handbuilding techniques.
The class fee includes 12.5 pounds of clay, glazing materials, and all firings. Extra clay is available for purchase as needed.
Ages 13 to adult. Class size is limited to 10 students.
