Chennai: SciArtsRUs a non-profit organisation based in California in association with Artabilities 4 All and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is organising the 5th edition of “Marghazhi Matram”. The inaugural ceremony will be held on Friday December 6, 2024 from 3:00 pm onwards at Rasika Ranjani Sabha 30/1 Sundareswarar Street Girija Garden Mylapore Chennai – 600 004 followed by a 6 day showcase will be held at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan Mini Hall 2nd floor 18 19 20 21 22 East Mada Street Mylapore Chennai-600004.
A brainchild of Dr. Kaushik Founder of SciArtsRUs will be hosting this global event “Marghazhi Matram” to be held for 6 days this year in the month of December i.e. from 8th 21st 22nd 27th 28th and 29th Dec’ 2024. This year features around 160 artists with over 200 performers including 50 visual artists from 8 countries 65 differently-abled artists 10 cross-culture artists from Japan Italy France Belarus and Mexico PIO/NRI artistes from USA Norway and Malaysia. This year folk artists attempts to bring in a seamless integration of abilities cultures and genres.
The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by the eminent Chief Guest Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chettiar and Guest of Honour Kalaimamani Chitra Vishweswaran in the presence of other distinguished guests:

On the inaugural day we are launching “This Able Contest” in association with Sugam Culture and Heritage Foundation Malaysia where visual artists of all abilities will be celebrated including children and adults with special needs from the Clarke School of Deaf V-excel educational Trust Vidya Sagar and more. All participants will be celebrated with the dignitaries on stage.
