Welcome to Call of the Woods! We are a hiking group for exchange students, foreign students and expats.
For our 5th walk (22 km), we will check out the 1000 blooming almond trees in Hustopeče. And climb a couple of view towers.
MEETING POINT
We will meet at 10:20 in the main hall of the railway station. At 10:36, we will take train R13 to Zajeci, and then S52 to Velke Pavlovice.
TICKETS
You will need:
-a 5 zones (going) and a 4 zones (return) ticket if you have tram pass
-a 7 zones (going) and a 6 zones (return) ticket if you don't have tram pass
Try to buy you tickets in advance. Otherwise, come a little earlier to the meeting point, se we can help you.
This will be a bit longer walk, but we will take enough breaks on the way, so that you will make it. 🙂 The main break is in a pub halfway (Ovci Terasy). The food is quite expensive there, so better bring your own food. From Hustopeče we take a direct train, or bus+train back to Brno (depends on the time we finish).
There is an almond festival in the orchid and in the town of Hustopece, where you can look around and taste wine.
