The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge is proud to present our 5th Annual Sneaker Soirée: Kicks for a Cause fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Sneaker Soirée: Kicks for a Cause was established to support mentees in our flagship mentoring program, Project Excel—a comprehensive initiative serving young men in 6th through 12th grade. Project Excel focuses on self-management, leadership development, assertion skills, personal relationships, career readiness, and youth enrichment excursions. Since its inception, Sneaker Soirée has generated over $120,000 in scholarships and program support benefiting Project Excel mentees.
You and your guests are invited to an unforgettable evening of philanthropy, entertainment, and purpose as we honor the impact of mentorship in Baton Rouge. With your support, we can continue providing our mentees with the resources, exposure, and experiences they deserve.
