The 5th Annual Party at the Pond is an annual Memorial Music Festival in honor of my husband Russ Brown. Russ started the first Party at the Pond in 2022. Lots of fun. He planned the 2nd Party at the Pond but never got to see his work. Russ sadly passed away from a heart attack on April 18, 2023. We had the festival in honor of him.
Russ built this venue by hand. Every detail came from his talented hands. Cleared the land and built his dream. His dream included sharing this beautiful property with you.
We are proud to be Russ' family and friends and vow to keep his dream alive for as long as possible.
Here we are to the 5th Annual Party at the Pond. It has grown every year. Every year we donate to The Russ Brown Scholarship Fund to help local high school students head out into the big world ahead of them.
Our goal is for you to come enjoy local bands in a calm peaceful setting. We have 5 bands starting at 1pm. Gates Open at 12 noon. Enjoy a variety of food vendors, crafters.
This is a BYOB event, although Villa Verona will be joining us with choices of wine and wine slushies. Feel free to bring a pop up tent, picnic basket if you want. Don't forget the lawn chairs. There will also be seating under the huge 40ft x 80ft tent housing the dance floor and stage.
The cost for entry is $20.00. With under 12 - free.
You asked for camping, we have added that with live music on Friday, July 10th by Matt Chase from 7pm till 9pm. There will be details in future posts.
