EMAIL INVITES HAVE BEEN SENT!We are thrilled to announce and invite you to take part in the 5th Annual NK Seeds Invitational Minor Hockey Tournament, taking place from April 17-19 at the Cobourg Community Centre. It promises to be an exciting showcase of high-level hockey, community spirit, and unforgettable competition. Proudly hosted by Hockey Coaches 4 Hockey Kids and F.U.N. Development (Van Dorp Farms).
Over the course of three days, more than 300 participants will take to the ice, bringing together players from various associations. This provides them with the opportunity to forge new friendships and compete against unfamiliar opponents. The tournament features two divisions, each with ten teams, all proudly supported by the incredible local businesses that contribute to our community’s strength. Teams are carefully formed through a draft-style tournament to ensure balanced matchups and maximize the overall experience for the players.

Tournament Highlights:
Four guaranteed games per team starting Friday morning and concluding Sunday night.
Hybrid Checking: Hybrid checking is defined as that which is intended to separate player from puck. Unnecessary roughing will be penalized at all levels under regular “roughing” rules. Additionally, open-ice hits where players are moving in opposite directions are not permitted and will be penalized as “roughing”.
Volunteers & Photographer Needed:
We’re seeking volunteers to help distribute jerseys throughout the weekend. A photographer is also needed to capture the tournament’s memorable moments.
