Join us for the 5th Annual Miles for Mason WalkThis year we are taking Miles for Mason even further. Our goal is not only to raise awareness for Nemaline Myopathy, but to create a meaningful opportunity for the future.
The mission of the 2026 event is to raise funds for a 2027 High School Senior Scholarship for a student who plans to pursue a career in genetics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or working with children with special needs. We hope to inspire the next generation of professionals who will support families like ours.
In addition to our kickoff walk, we are launching the Miles for Mason Movement Challenge.
From May 30 through June 6, our community will work together to reach a combined goal of 600 miles of movement.
Participants can contribute miles however they choose:
• Walking
• Running
• Biking
• Swimming
• Kayaking
Every mile counts and every participant helps move us closer to our goal.
We encourage everyone to share their workouts and progress throughout the week by tagging Ali Boone and using the hashtag:
#milesformasonnm
Watching the community come together is one of the most powerful parts of this event.

Whether you join the walk, contribute miles during the week, donate, or help spread the word, you are part of the Miles for Mason story.
Together we can support Mason, raise awareness for Nemaline Myopathy, and invest in the future of students who want to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs.
We cannot wait to see our community come together again for the 5th Annual Miles for Mason.
