The Gilmer County Optimist Club will take to the courts for its 5th Annual Justin Elliott Memorial Tennis Tournament on May 2 & 3, 2026, in Ellijay GA. The money we raise helps to support community service projects benefiting Gilmer County’s children and youth.
Named in his honor, the Justin Elliott Memorial Tennis Tournament will include players from Gilmer, Pickens, Fannin, Union, Towns, Cobb, Cherokee and other Georgia counties. It will feature competition in the form of men’s and women’s doubles. Matches will be played at both the park and rec tennis courts near the Gilmer County Civic Center and the tennis courts on the Gilmer County High School campus.
