To show appreciation to our Veterans, High Plains Honor Flight, as part of the Honor Flight Network, has the mission of celebrating America’s veterans by inviting them to share in a day of honor at our nation’s memorials. Our purpose is to ensure that each Veteran receives the “Welcome Home” that many never received. The trip to visit the memorials in Washington, D.C. is at absolutely no cost to the veterans. High Plains Honor Flight is a 100% volunteer 501 (c)(3) organization with all proceeds used to honor our Veterans. Without generous donations, we would not be able to accomplish our mission. Each flight, HPHF takes 120 Veterans to Washington, D.C.; the current cost of a flight is $250,000. To date since 2008 over 4,000 Veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and several Purple Heart Recipients from the conflicts in the Middle East have been on one of our flights. HPHF services Veterans from CO, NE, and WY.
Breakfast burritos will be available to purchase at time of registration and 2nd stop after leaving Thunder Mountain will have quick grab brat and chip deal available as well.
This run is open to anything that rolls, got a bike awesome, a hot rod awesome awesome, a all jacked up show quality pickup to your pops old farm truck.....bring them all out to support this amazing cause for our Veterans. Let's bring the thunder for our Veterans.
