St. Thomas University's Gus Machado College of Business proudly presents "Genesis," the theme for its 5th Annual Fashion, Food & Wine Showcase — an immersive evening where haute couture and haute cuisine collide. Emceed by Inside South Florida's Matt Dillon, Fashion Forecaster of The MD Effect, the night promises an unforgettable blend of style, flavor, and creativity.
Headlining the runway are Project Runway Season 19 winner Shantall Lacayo and high-end womenswear designer Ashley Stambouli, and an array of acclaimed designers bringing exclusive collections to life.
Taking center stage alongside the runway is STU's culinary program, offering a chef-tasting experience deeply rooted in the university's rich Cuban heritage. Joining them are celebrity culinary guests and an eclectic roster of local vendors and gastronomic sponsors.
Beyond the glamour, the evening carries a meaningful purpose. Proceeds from the event directly support student experiential opportunities across STU's programs in Fashion Merchandising and Design, Culinary Arts, and Hospitality — giving the next generation of industry leaders the hands-on experience they need to thrive.
