We are Hosting the 5th Annual Chuy Lara Memorial Baseball Tournament. Coach Chuy passed away Jan 4th 2022 due to complication from Covid-19. He is dearly missed by the CG Royals family and his brothers in Blue. We want to continue to honor him by given the youth in the area an opportunity to play the sport that he loved to coach. This tournament is being held to raise funds for the Chuy Lara Scholarship Foundation held through the 100 Club.

Coach Chuy, was hardworking, valued honor and integrity, was kind, selfless and compassionate, loved talking to people and was excellent at encouraging and motivating others. He was always willing to help someone in need and had a special place in his heart for helping the youth in the community. The Chuy Lara Memorial Scholarship was created to continue his mission of impacting lives of youth athletes. The Chuy Lara Scholarship is given to a student(s) in Arizona who is a surviving family member of a first responder and shares the same characteristics of Coach Chuy Lara.

The tournament is March 21st and 22nd and will have 9u-12u and will have a minimum of 4 teams per division. Rings will be given for 1st and 2nd place in each division. The entry fee is $695 for 9u-12u. Registration fee is due 3-8-2026.
