Bring your lawn chairs and all your family for another great day celebrating June 19, 1865 when Texas ended slavery, fully enforcing the Emancipation Proclamation. This will be a fun filled day of great food and arts and crafts vendors, line dancing, and entertainment for the young and the young at heart. The Theme: Fashion & Resistance. We will be celebrating fashion from the decades and how Black culture has made a statement of revolution through our threads. So be ready for a runway. Dress your favorite decade.
