Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action. Where the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe place for each of us to shatter the ego's hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

What you can expect from a 2 hour Waves class:
We begin each class with a warm up, spending time moving however you want: stretching, breathing and dancing in a way that feels good for you, in the moment.
Then, you will most probably be guided through a Wave, which is dancing the 5Rhythms® in the same specific order, (flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness).
There are no steps to learn and you can't get it wrong. You're invited to explore in your own way the 5Rhythms® and how they want to move and be expressed through your body.
No need to book in advance, simply turn up and pay on the door with cash or card - £15/12
