This is a short fun hike with good views of West Kelowna. You can continue on from the main view point to explore the rest of the mountain top and the other views. Sometimes the group stays as a group for the hike, and sometimes ambitions vary and the group splits up. We will go with the flow and determine what works best for the group and individuals once we hit the first view point.
You are responsible for your own saftey and wellbeing. Please make sure you are with someone who knows the trail, or have a form of navigation if you split from the group.
4 KM round-trip with 200m elevation. If people decide to continue to the next view its another 4km round trip with an additional 150m elevation. We will stop at the first view point but people are welcome to continue on and split from the group if theyd like.
Prepare for muddy/slushy trail conditions and cooler weather/wind at the top
Trail conditions are likely to be muddy. The sun will be out, but mountain tops are never warm. Be prepared for the sun, the cold, and mud.
Dogs are welcome but must stay on leash. Your dog is probably the goodest boy ever, but other dogs and people may not feel the same way.
Children welcome, no leash required 😆
