We are the Minnesota Brewery Running Series® and we run for beer! 🏃♂️🍻
Join us for a 5K-ish fun run at Back Channel Brewing Co., a local favorite near the shores of Lake Minnetonka and the perfect place to kick off a spring weekend. Expect fresh air, friendly faces, and a well-earned beer at the finish line.
Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy a scenic route, then stick around to celebrate with your fellow runners at the taproom. 🎉
Event Details
📅 When: Saturday, May 16
⏰ Time: Fun run starts at 11:00 AM (arrive ~30 min early for check-in and a smooth start!)
📍 Where: Back Channel Brewing Co. — Westonka, MN
🗺️ Course: A marked 5K-ish route that starts and ends at the brewery, showcasing the Westonka area. Course map + parking details will be emailed the week of the event.

🏃♀️ Untimed fun run — all walkers, runners, and joggers welcome
🚶♂️ Open course — routes use public paths/roads; please obey traffic laws and stay aware
🆔 ID required — you don’t need to be 21 to participate, but must be 21+ to drink beer. Underage participants receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage
🌧️ Rain or shine — the event goes on no matter the weather
✨ Limited spots — registration capped for the best taproom experience, so sign up early!
