Get ready for some color!!
The Hernando County Community Health Improvement Plan Partnership (CHIPP) is proud to bring back the 5210 Kids Color Run to kick off the 2021 National Children's Week celebration! This free, non-competitive run around the Nature Coast Technical High School track and field area will be sure to bring fun and excitement to children of all ages as they enjoy a physical activity, coupled with loads of color and activities to reinforce healthy behaviors.
Children will run, walk or wheel around the track stopping at four colorful 5210 themed activity stations. As they progress from station to station, they will be splashed with color in celebration of their progress.
Children 14 and under are eligible to participate. Free sunglasses and a white t-shirt will be provided to the first 150 registrants.
So what is 5-2-1-0?
- 5 fruits and vegetables per day
- No more than 2 hours of recreational screen time
- 1 hour of physical activity and
- Zero sugary drinks

FAQs
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The Color Run is designed for children and their guardians. There will be 4 separate runs available.
Children 6 and under, 7-10,11-14, and any age.
Parents/Guardians are not required to run with their child, but are encouraged to do so for the 6 and under crowd.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes. We use the information for planning purposes so if you plan on bringing extra children or if something comes up and you can't make it (we'll miss you!!!) just update your info and we will take it from there.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Sure. However the info we collect includes t-shirt sizes so try to match as closely as possibly.
Do I have to bring a copy of my ticket to the event?
No. Just show up and we will handle the rest.
