Please join us on Sunday, November 23rd, for an afternoon at the Cathedral commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Grace Cathedral fire that occurred the day before Thanksgiving in 1975. Family, friends, and community members are all invited! Schedule:
2 p.m. - Doors Open and Refreshments (All Saints Hall)
2:30 p.m. - Community Open House & Memory Sharing (All Saints Hall)
3:30 p.m. - Guided Tour (Cathedral Nave)
4 p.m. - Choral Evensong & Recognition of Fire Fighters (Cathedral Nave)
5 p.m. - Dessert Reception (All Saints Hall)
Several artists will have works on display in the Cloister Gallery that fit the fire theme, and a series of informational posters featuring the fire itself and the rebuilding process will be on display as well.
We understand if you cannot commit to the full schedule. You are welcome to come for just a portion of the event if that works best for your schedule!
