Did you know....Some 50 years ago, Peter and Carolyn set to work transforming an old mill into a little bar, with little idea of what it might become or the tales that would be told within its' walls.
Generations have enjoyed their first drink, lost their first game of pool, cheered for England, danced with strangers that would later become friends, and raised a glass to countless celebrations, all under the old mill gear.
Fast forward to 5 years ago -after a short (covid lockdown) hiatus, we reopened with a fresh energy and rebranded as Bar Harlyn, bringing an exciting new concept, all the while ensuring we maintained the spirit Peter and Carolyn started.
More changes are set for the year ahead, and as we embrace the coming of a new chapter, we invite you to come and celebrate the 50 years since that initial vision, half a century of hard work and great laughs, and the beautiful community that grew within it.
Monday 25th May from 7:30pm- with live music from the truly iconic @companybsocial at 8:30pm- who's ready for a party?!
