In the race of life, Nicholas Cheesewoste (aka Richard Bentley) has been crawling along at 67,000 miles an hour for nigh-on 50 years. We invite you to join him and his coach the honourable Doc Squabbles (aka Nick Garnett), as he completes his 50th lap of the sun. Cheering him on, with the help of tape, transistors and turntables, will be fellow athletes Alan Gubby (Buried Treasure), Nino Aurrichio (d'Voxx), Gavin Lombos (Electrohed), Nick Blake, Matthew Foster, Jim Dorney and Leo Brown (Fresian) and, with a two year head-start, Paul Bentley (DJ set). Michael Cordova (inimitably himself), Mike Bandoni (Funkshone) and Jim Dorney and Kaushik Shukla (Hemingway Method) will lay-back and let the earth do the running, as they offer chilled vibes in the upstairs lounge. Cheesewoste, Squabbles and all the Annual Daydream Harvesters would love you to whoop, squeal and generally shake your stuff with them on Saturday May 2nd from 7-11pm at the Rising Sun Arts Centre in Reading. £5pp suggested donation (all funds going to the Rising Sun Arts Centre)
