On February 28th, 2021, we held our very first Art of Mosh at our beloved Sveta Bar.
Five years have passed, and it feels incredibly special that people who were there from the very beginning are still part of this journey. Luke and Madleen, the owners of Sveta Ba, have supported and believed in us throughout all these years, and it means the world to us to have them in this anniversary lineup.
Our 5-year celebration will take place at Uus Laine, a venue that instantly reminded us of the welcoming and open spirit we once found at Sveta. We had been searching for that feeling for a long time, and now we are slowly becoming one team with Laine, and some members of the Art of Mosh community have already contributed to shaping this space.
Last year at Tallinn Music Week, Polina (AOM organiser) curated the Laine Live showcase, and that’s how City Dog was discovered. Since then, we’ve become great friends: we had an amazing headline show at Paavli, filmed music videos together, and shared so many unforgettable moments. It feels only right to have them on such an important night for us.
Alongside them, Luke and Madleen, Cottonmoth, and Homebroke are all legendary parts of the Art of Mosh family will take the stage. They have each played an important role in shaping what we do. We’re also excited to have GOK2 on the lineup, who by the way, cut his hand and got three stitches at the last AOM Live. So yes… the night promises to be wild and unforgettable.
We’re bringing an extra sound system and enhanced lighting, and we’ll be recording live videos for bands, so make sure to crowd surf if you want to end up in the history books (or future documentaries about us).
And of course, it wouldn’t be Art of Mosh without art. Our dear friends from Carnival Groteska are preparing something special for the evening as well.
