About Queenie:
Queenie discovered her love for Urban Kiz and Kizomba in 2018, drawn by the fascinating blend of African-Caribbean culture within these dances. She dedicated herself to rigorous training, learning from respected instructors like Anjan Kumar, Lucia Nogueira, Pamelita, and Lua Borboleta.
In 2023, Queenie took on the role of an instructor in San Diego, marking a significant milestone in her journey. She continued to develop her skills by completing her Urban Kiz teacher's training with Pamelita.
Throughout her dance journey, Queenie expanded her horizons by exploring various styles, including Kizomba, Tarraxo, Tarraxinha, Brazilian Zouk, salsa, and bachata. This diverse experience deepened her understanding of body movement, partner dance techniques, and self-expression through dance.
Queenie calls San Diego home and passionately contributes to nurturing the local Urban Kiz community.
