About this workshop: Working in the Netherlands can be very different compared to your home country. Have you ever wondered what rules apply to you when you enter into an employment agreement with a Dutch employer? Then you should attend this workshop.
During the workshop, Irene Lansen, employment lawyer at ScheerSanders Advocaten, will explain what you need to know about signing an employment contract, and discuss what happens when you want to leave your job but have signed a non-compete clause or become ill. She will also explain your rights in case of a dismissal, including entering into a settlement agreement.
Irene is an employment lawyer and regularly assists expats. Having worked abroad as a lawyer for many years, she speaks fluent English and understands the challenges people may face when they do not live in their country of origin. ScheerSanders has a wide range of expertise in business law, commercial law, employment law, family law, health law, and more.
Important note: Workshop seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You need to arrive at the workshop space 15 minutes early to ensure you get a seat.
