In March the waters are cold at about 8 degrees which is perfect for all the cold water lovers and brings a cosy or "coorie" vibe to the retreat! We limit our time in the water to a maximum of 20 minutes and make good use of the hot tub. It's in March where our "Hottie Pottie" comes into its own with dips across the road in the loch and then back into the hot tub and repeat! Mull is quiet and very peaceful at this time of year so you will see lots of wildlife like deer and Highland cows roaming around. Iona also is very serene without the crowds and we often take shelter in the Abbey's chapel while David talks to us about the history and heritage of Iona. The dips in Iona at this time of year are life affirming and exhilarating!

🧤 Warm clothing - Layers to put on after a swim (vest, long sleeved top/thermal, joggers/sweatpants, hoodie/jumper, gloves, woolly socks, woolly hat)
☂️ Waterproofs - Warm waterproof jacket, fleecy lined walking trousers (optional but recommended!), walking boots/sturdy waterproof trainers
