Please join us for a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training on May 27, 2026 from 9:00am - 2:30pm at Delta College Downtown Midland. This training is generously sponsored by the Midland Area Community Foundation Youth Action Council.
YMHFA teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use challenge and help connect them to the appropriate care.
After completing a 2-hour, self-paced online course, First Aiders will participate in four to five hours of in-person, instructor-led training together. This event is free to attend, though registration is required and lunch will be provided.
